Cars Cars Cars

Today, owning a car is like owning a high end mobiles phones. There are lots of variety of models with different features, colors, functions, and sizes. The only difference is your mobiles phones can be kept on your pocket while your car cannot. Well I guess your car keys can surely fit on your pockets.

"There are many fishes in the ocean, as old saying goes". Just like a car manufacturer. Most top end manufacturers in my opinion are Ferrari, Renault, Mercedes Benz, GMC, Chevrolet, Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda, Honda, Toyota, Lexus, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, and so on. Each brand carries a different forte, for example Ferrari, Renault, and Mercedes Benz are commonly known for sports car, you can see these brands most often in rich personalities and in formula 1 track, GMC, Chevrolet, or Ford is use commonly as a truck, pickups, and SUV, while Japan cars like Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, are commonly built for a mix of street cars, racing cars, SUV, AUV, and so on. Nowadays most of the car designer and engineers are building a car that has multi-functionality, why? Simply because more car owners need versatile cars that can took up speed on the hi-way, passed through rough terrains, survive in a heavy traffic, fuel efficient, and has a futuristic feature. Just like your own mobile phones, most of the consumer wants a mobile phone that can do multi-task.

Buying a car

"A brand new car, second hand used car, or an old school vintage car?"

Before buying a car:
  1. Ask yourself how much you earn monthly to pay the monthly bills, if you want an auto loan one.
  2. If you want to pay cold cash to own a car, you better ask the dealer for a discounted price.
  3. Ask yourself if the functionality of the car you want to buy fit-in to your daily travel needs.
  4. Prepare yourself to pay yearly insurance, yearly government transportation laws, other car upgrades and expenses.
  5. Be ready to be mechanically inclined, so that you can DIY basic car problems.
  6. Read reviews and make some research to the car dealer and cars make and model.
  7. Prepare for your weekly gas fund.

Brand New Car

A brand new car is a car that you can get off the dealer which comes directly to the car plant manufacturer. No scratches, no dents, no modification, and has an original look. For some people owning a brand new car is a must, because you're the one who first use/abuse the car. Forget the word "abuse" it’s just my exaggerated term for new drivers that owns a brand new car. Still, nothing beats the smell of a brand new car, sitting on a car’s driver seat feels like a mix of excitement and happiness. Ready to cruse the road anytime! Just be careful not to smash some cars along the road. Brand new car comes with new opportunity and exciting adventure. Basic cons of owning a brand new car is when you drive your new car to your home or out of the dealer’s location, your car cost or value starts to depreciate. Remember every mileage counts if your want to sell your car as a second hand used car.

Second hand Used Car (Pre-owned)

A second hand used car is a car that is days, months, and years older than a Brand new car. This kind of car is way cost friendly then brand new ones. Well, sometimes it depends on the year and model of a car. Second hand cars can be sold in variety of outlets, like dealer, leasing, and private. This car is sold with an upgrade or added modification, some has hidden defects or mechanical issues that can be repair, and most has a high mileage. You can bargain the price of the car to the seller because of high mileage and some issues that you can see during car viewing and or test drive. Some second hand cars are on sale because of some owners’ personal issue. You're lucky if you can get a second hand car with a low mileage or a month old with a lesser price than brand new. If you have a tight and low budget and you badly need a car, this type of car is for you. There's nothing wrong in owning a used car. Just remember to fully inspect the cars condition mechanically, electrically, and don't forget to recheck all cars documents before closing a deal.

Vintage Car "Old school and Collectible"

History is very important that you don't want to forget, it is like preserving memory, ideas, and facts.  A vintage or a retro style car is an old car with more years older than second hand used car. In my opinion some examples of my favorite vintage cars are Volkswagen beetle a 1960's 1200/1300/1500/1600cc, 1920's Bentley, Muscle Cars like 1970's Chevrolet Chevelle SS, and many more. This type of car is mostly owned by car collectors who loves restoring and rebuilding a classic car. It is really costly to own a classic car because you certainly needed to upgrade and rebuild your cars mechanical parts to keep it running and make it road worthy. Some parts are even hard to find because the manufacturer already stop making one. You can always look to the second hand cars parts online if you're lucky. Some old cars are not safe to be an everyday car especially if you are not giving enough time and money to make it regularly tuned up. Selling a vintage car can be a profitable especially if you perfectly restored your car. "Old is cool, It's old but Classic, and there is no New if there's no Old".
